Pour de France: BORDEAUX & THE SOUTH WEST

Embark on a journey through France with us on our latest wine tasting series inspired by the iconic Tour de France. Each stage highlights a different region’s finest wines, perfectly paired with cheeses and charcuterie from our iconic Deli. No cycling required! 

BORDEAUX & THE SOUTH WEST

Bordeaux is the epicentre of wine production in the South West corner of France and has over 50 wine appellations to choose from. We will be trying some examples of Bordeaux wines; however, we will also be travelling a bit further afield to some of the better-known regions on its fringes which share similar wine styles and grape varieties such as Cahors and Monbazillac. The tasting will also feature wine from Gascony, which is Armagnac country but also makes brilliant value, fruity, fresh whites, plus we will sample one of the substantial red wines from Madiran in the Basque country.

When: Friday 21st February 6.30pm - 8.30pm
