Pour de France: LANGUEDOC – ROUSSILLON

Embark on a journey through France with us on our latest wine tasting series inspired by the iconic Tour de France. Each stage highlights a different region’s finest wines, perfectly paired with cheeses and charcuterie from our iconic Deli. No cycling required! 

LANGUEDOC – ROUSSILLON

This Mediterranean wine region, stretching in a crescent from the Spanish border to the Camargue, is France’s most important in terms of volume. With over half a million acres under vine it is the single biggest wine producing region in the world and it used to be responsible for oceans of Vin de Table and Vin de Pays. Nowadays there is lots of exciting wine to discover in this vast region and excellent value to be found too. We will start with some of the typically crisp, herby whites and then move on the full-bodied reds from some of the exciting and up and coming zones like Pic St Loup and Terrasses du Larzac.
