Jazz Summer Picnic with Lou Lou Swing

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of world-class jazz at Macknade. This June, we’re thrilled to welcome the talented Lou Lou swing duo, made up of Louise Cookman (vocals) and Jonny Hepbir (guitar) to Macknade.

Date: 6th June 2025

Venue: Macknade Food Village

Time: From 6.30pm 

Tickets: £30 per person, including picnic box and free welcome drink.  

Louise is a leading big band, jazz & swing era vocalist in the UK. Her rich, velvety voice, instinctive musicality, coupled with a warm stage presence have ensured that She has been a hit with audiences all over the UK and abroad. 

Jonny is one of the top players on the British Gypsy Jazz scene. During his career he has performed throughout the UK and abroad, inluding private performances for Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Terence Conran, Paul Merton & Kool & the Gang. 

This promises to be a delightful night of jazz, filled with exceptional music and great food and drink. Starting at 6.30pm you'll be greeted with a picnic box on arrival to enjoy in our Food Village.

Throughout the evening, you'll have the opportunity to order your drinks from the Hop Shed Wild Box bar as you enjoy the music.

Important Information: We recommend booking tickets collectively to ensure your group is seated together. If this isn’t possible, please email jessie@macknade.com so we can make the necessary arrangements. Whilst we plan to have this event outside in the glorious sunshine we cannot always rely on the great British weather, so should the weather not be on our side the event will take place inside our Hop Shed.
