ITALY UNCORKED: North East Italy

We're celebrating Macknade's Italian heritage with a series of wine tastings in our Wine Store. We'll explore wines from various regions in Italy, starting from the Alps and moving down to the Islands. Italy has more unique grape varieties than France, Spain, and Portugal combined and with so many wines from so many different areas, it can be a bit overwhelming. Join us to uncork the best of each region and explore their exciting and diverse offerings! 

NORTH EAST ITALY

Our first tasting will shine a spotlight on the North East of Italy, with a primary focus on Veneto – renowned for its Prosecco, Valpolicella, and Soave. Additionally, our journey will traverse the gravelly lowlands of Friuli and the striking corridor of the Adige valley. We will complement our wine selection with carefully curated samples of regional delights from our Deli counter.
