ITALY UNCORKED: The Islands

We're celebrating Macknade's Italian heritage with a series of wine tastings in our Wine Store. We'll explore wines from various regions in Italy, starting from the Alps and moving down to the Islands. Italy has more unique grape varieties than France, Spain, and Portugal combined and with so many wines from so many different areas, it can be a bit overwhelming. Join us to uncork the best of each region and explore their exciting and diverse offerings! 

THE ISLANDS

Our uncorking of Italy concludes with a trip to the islands. Join us as we delve into the principal varieties of Sardinia and the diverse wines of Sicily, crafted from indigenous grapes. Our tasting will include Sicily's sole DOCG, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, and the rising stars - the volcanic wines flourishing around Mount Etna. We will complement our wine selection with carefully curated samples of regional delights from our Deli counter.
