Macknade Big Green Egg Referral Promotion - Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions 

1. Promoter

The promoter of this offer is Macknade, Selling Road, Faversham, Kent ME13 8XF.

2. Promotion Period

The referral promotion is open from 29 August 2026 to 14 September 2026. Both the referral and qualifying purchase must be completed during the promotional period.

Macknade reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the promotion at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over.

Employees of Macknade and their immediate family members may participate only with prior approval from management.

4. How the Referral Promotion Works

A Referrer may introduce a prospective customer ("Referred Customer") to Macknade for the purchase of a qualifying Big Green Egg.

If the Referred Customer subsequently completes a qualifying purchase, both the Referrer and the Referred Customer will each receive a £50 Macknade Gift Card.

Following completion of their purchase, the Referred Customer may become a Referrer and refer additional customers under these Terms & Conditions.

5. Referral Registration Requirements

  • The referral must be registered using the official Macknade referral form before the purchase is completed.
  • The referral form may be completed by either the Referrer or the Referred Customer.
  • Sufficient information must be provided for Macknade to identify both parties.
  • Only one Referrer may be associated with any qualifying purchase.
  • Where multiple referrals are submitted for the same customer, Macknade will recognise the first valid referral received.

6. Qualifying Purchases

A qualifying purchase is:

  • A new Large or XL Big Green Egg barbecue purchased directly from Macknade.
  • Purchased at the full selling price or as part of an approved Macknade promotion.
  • Paid for in full.

The following do not qualify:

  • Previous purchases made before the referral was registered.
  • Purchases of Minimax Big Green Egg model. 
  • Retrospective claims.
  • Purchases that are cancelled, refunded or returned.
  • Spare parts, accessories, charcoal, tables, nests, covers or other non-Egg products purchased independently.

Macknade reserves the right to determine what constitutes a qualifying purchase.

7. Referral Reward

Upon completion and full payment of a qualifying purchase:

  • The Referrer will receive one £50 Macknade Gift Card.
  • The Referred Customer will receive one £50 Macknade Gift Card.

Gift Cards:

  • Have no cash value.
  • Cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Are subject to Macknade's standard Gift Card Terms & Conditions.
  • Will only be issued once the qualifying purchase has been completed and any applicable cooling-off period has expired.

8. No Limit on Referrals

There is no limit to the number of valid referrals a participant may make.

A participant may receive multiple referral rewards where multiple qualifying purchases result from separate valid referrals.

9. Fraud and Abuse

Macknade reserves the right to refuse, cancel or recover rewards where it reasonably suspects:

  • Fraudulent activity.
  • Self-referrals.
  • False or misleading information.
  • Attempts to manipulate the promotion.
  • Any activity contrary to the spirit of the promotion.

Macknade's decision in such matters shall be final.

10. Data Protection

By submitting a referral, participants confirm that they have permission to share the personal information of the Referred Customer for the purposes of administering this promotion.

Personal information provided will be processed in accordance with Macknade's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Macknade accepts no responsibility for:

  • Lost or incomplete referral submissions.
  • Technical issues affecting registration.
  • Delayed reward issuance due to inaccurate information supplied by participants.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

12. General

Participation in the promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Macknade reserves the right to verify referrals and qualifying purchases before issuing rewards.

The decision of Macknade regarding eligibility, qualification, reward entitlement and interpretation of these Terms & Conditions shall be final.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
