Join Katy Newton from Wasted Kitchen for a relaxed Thursday evening session exploring the wonderfully simple art of making your own seasonal fruit liqueurs, plus non-alcoholic shrubs for those who prefer to keep things alcohol-free.

You'll have a taste, experiment with flavours and get stuck into making something to take home. You’ll discover which fruits, spirits, herbs and spices work well together, when to add the sugar and how long to leave everything before straining, drinking or giving it away.

Bring along some fruit and a spirit or vinegar, or buy what you need here at Macknade. If you’re not sure what to bring, Katie will send some guidance beforehand. A couple of jars or wide-necked bottles are useful too, if you have them.

Katie will bring the flavourings, spare jars and a few years’ experience of making Coxy’s (award-winning!) Liqueurs & Shrubs back in the day. So expect plenty of tasting, experimenting and hopefully something delicious at the end of it!
