Stop in to our café to experience the finest Macknade ingredients, without the work!
On The Menu
Located in our Flagship Food Hall, Faversham, our café’s menu showcases what can be done with the fantastic ingredients found at Macknade. The passionate team create all manner of wonderful dishes, and draw real inspiration from the unique opportunity of having Macknade as their kitchen larder.
Our café is renowned for its sandwiches, brunch dishes and platters, made up of charcuterie and cheeses hand-selected by our deli team. These personify who we are and what we are all about – trying new, exciting produce from Kent and beyond and sharing that experience with family and friends.
The menu below gives you an idea of what we serve… but don’t miss our daily changing specials and wide selection of cakes sourced from talented local bakers.
Good coffee has always been central to the Macknade way of life. We import our house coffee directly from the Italian roaster Manaresi and deliver it using a mixture of modern and classic espresso techniques. This gives us a unique and high quality coffee that does not disappoint. We also source coffee from small batch artisan roasters in the UK and offer regularly changing guest blends. Bec, our Café Supervisor, is a major coffee buff and is always tempting us to try new coffees when they come in!
For those that prefer tea, we have a selection of fine, loose leaf teas blended especially for us by Kent based, master-blenders Blends for Friends. There are some really interesting blends available, so ask our staff for their recommendations.
The café is open between 8.30am & 5.00pm Monday to Saturday and 9am and 4pm on Sunday.
Last orders are taken at 4.30pm Monday to Friday and at 3.30pm on Sunday.
Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs in the café. The only exception is for guide dogs.
We cannot guarantee a 100% gluten free environment. However, we do our best to accommodate gluten intolerances and have a wide selection of gluten free cakes available. We also do our best to cater for people with food allergies however we cannot guarantee an environment completely free from allergens. Traces of some ingredients may still be present in what we serve.
