Starting at 7pm, you'll be welcomed with a drink on arrival and the opportunity to order from a menu of small plates created by the Macknade kitchen, whilst the trio take to the stage.

Stephen Bridgland is a multi-talented guitarist, double bassist, and composer. Winner of the Canterbury Festival Composition Prize, Stephen has performed at Brecon Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival and the Canterbury Festival, as well as venues including The Vortex and The Royal Festival Hall.

His current guitar-led trio takes tunes drawn from the entire history of jazz and gives them a freshen up with bespoke arrangements that also leave room for spontaneity. Expect to hear unique takes on standards alongside lesser played tunes by jazz composers both past and present.
