Our Faversham Food Hall is conveniently situated less than two minutes from the M2 and just off the A2 on Selling Road. We are based on the outskirts of Faversham, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and have been for over 30 years. The site has a large car park immediately outside and coach parties are always welcome, although we do ask that this is arranged in advance.
Our store is child-friendly, offering high chairs and a children’s menu in our café. We are based on one floor, meaning we are wheelchair accessible. We also offer conference and meeting facilities, of which you can find more details on our venue hire page.
We are located just five minutes taxi ride (or 15 minutes walk) from Faversham Rail Station, which has direct links into London Victoria and London St Pancras. Tickets can be purchased direct via the Southeastern website by clicking here.
There is a bus stop just five minutes walk from us, at the corner of Love Lane, with buses going between Canterbury & Sittingbourne (timetable available to download here), and we also have a bicycle rack at the front of the store for cyclists.
Dogs are welcome on our outside Deck, but not in the shop or café.

About The Local Area
Faversham has been home to Macknade since 1847, when we were just a farm on the Ashford Road. Our Flagship Food Hall is now located closer to the centre of Faversham, on a large plot of land with the Kent countryside on one side and the town on the other.
We are proud of our roots in Faversham. It has a reputation for fantastic food & drink and is steeped in history, dating back to pre-Roman times.
Faversham is famous for its hops, with Britain’s oldest brewery, Shepherd Neame, located in the heart of the town. There is a yearly festival to celebrate hop picking, as well as a food festival to celebrate all the other fantastic produce from the area.
If you are looking for a full day out, Faversham has beautiful listed buildings, visitor attractions, a buzzing creative scene, plenty of walks and countryside to take advantage of. There are also several markets throughout the month including Best of Faversham and the Antiques & Vintage Market.
Ten minutes along the coast from Faversham is Whitstable – a picturesque seaside town famous for its oysters and boutique shops. Ten minutes drive south is the cathedral city of Canterbury, where you will find excellent restaurants, historical buildings and plenty of shops. So, it really is a golden triangle!
We are located just one hour from London by train, making Faversham an excellent choice for a day away from the capital.
