Jazz & Aperitivo w/ Louise Cookman

Join us on Friday March 1st as we welcome Louise Cookman, singer with the acclaimed BBC Big Band to Macknade. Louise will be performing selections from the Great American Songbook, including Gershwin, Porter, Hammerstein and more.


Starting at 7pm, you'll be welcomed with a drink on arrival and the opportunity to order from a menu of Italian small plates created by the Macknade kitchen, while Louise & her pianist take to the stage.


Tickets are £15 each and include a drink on arrival.

Louise Cookman, a prominent big band, jazz, and swing vocalist in the UK, boasts a rich, velvety voice and over two decades of success. Initially a dance band and big band vocalist, specializing in 20s, 30s, and 40s music, she was vocalist for the Pasadena Roof Orchestra for over five years. Louise has been a guest vocalist with renowned groups like the BBC Big Band, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Orchestra, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra UK. She was featured on BBC4 television in "Len Goodman’s Dancing Feet" and "Len Goodman’s Dance Band Days.
