Jazz & Aperitivo w/ Nina Clark & Sam Dunn

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of world-class jazz at Macknade. This March, we’re thrilled to welcome the talented Nina Clark (vocals) and Sam Dunn (guitar) to Macknade.

Nina is a jazz vocalist renowned for her melodic storytelling and captivating performances across the UK, US, Dubai, Europe, and New Zealand. Her 2024 UK tour with guitarist Sam Dunn, Take Love Easy, celebrates the timeless duo works of Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass, including their sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s.

Beyond her incredible stage presence, Nina’s vocalese rendition of John Scofield’s “Jeep on 35” was performed by Grammy winner Kurt Elling and arranged for the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra. Esteemed biographer Lesley Ann Jones hails Nina for her “songs both mellifluous and punchy, delivered with charm and wit.”

This promises to be a delightful night of jazz, filled with exceptional music and great food and drink. Starting at 7pm you'll be greeted with a complimentary drink on arrival. Throughout the evening, you'll have the opportunity to order from a menu of delicious small plates created by the Macknade kitchen as you enjoy the music.
