Our passionate team create all manner of wonderful dishes, and draw real inspiration from the unique opportunity of having Macknade as their kitchen larder, handpicking the finest ingredients from our on-site butchery, greengrocery and delicatessen.

THE ROLE

As Sous Chef at Macknade you will have:

·       previous experience as a Sous Chef, leading a kitchen team to deliver outstanding kitchen and customer service at every touchpoint 

·       strong experience of creating and delivering quality and innovative menus and dishes

·       experience of controlling ordering and purchasing of ingredients within a Kitchen setting

·       highly effective organisational skills with the ability to successfully develop and work within a positive and inclusive culture 

·       a clear passion to build on the Macknade reputation for offering a high quality outstanding experience

Our Food and Beverage offer is 7 days a week. Our café closes at 4.00 daily and we have a lively calendar of evening events throughout the year.

This is a full-time role of 42.5 hours per week, and the salary will be dependent upon experience, with a strong tip rate per hour.
