On Sunday 6th of October join Hills & Newton for a special Girls Guide to Hormones workshop designed for 10-13 year old girls and their parent or carer.

Join Virginia and Katy to talk:



  • Monthly hormone cycle in a nutshell and how it can impact how you feel and your daily life.

  • Why food is important and knowing which foods to prioritise or avoid during the menstrual cycle when hormones are awry, spots are a plenty and emotions are high.

  • The impact of stress, exercise and sleep on periods.

  • Navigating the best food choices at the school canteen and when you’re out and about.

  • Ideas & tips for meals you can put together easily yourself.


Tickets are £45 for one 10-13 year old and their parent/ carer and bookings are via Wasted Kitchen Website.  


This workshop will run from 10 - 12 and will be an open forum for questions in and around this subject, with a safe space for both of you to share your questions & get answers from us and others at the event going through the same thing.


Hills & Newton are made up of Nutritionist, Virginia Hills and Wasted Kitchen owner, Katy Newton. They are passionate about making understanding gut health and eating good food easy.
