Butchery Team Workshop

Join us in Ashford every first Friday of the month, where you'll be welcomed by one of our expert butchers to learn about some of our most popular products and best of all, taste them too!

Month by month we'll showcase something different from the butchery counter to ignite your taste buds and give you the opportunity to try something new.

Each intimate session lasts 45 minutes from 5.30pm or 6.45pm, and you'll learn about the provenance and cuts of different meats. Tickets are £10pp redeemable against any butchery purchase made on the day.

  • Friday 1st July - exploring the difference in 3 different varieties of beef cuts

  • Friday 5th August - exploring the most effective way to breakdown a Fosse Meadow chicken

  • Friday 2nd September - learn how porketta is made, and the best way to cook it

All of the meat available on our Ashford menu and in our open counter is prepared by our butchers in Faversham, where we specialise in whole carcass butchery and pasture fed meat. We’re talking everything from our very own handmade sausages and house cured molasses bacon (breakfast anyone?) to a slow grown, soy free chicken, or rib of beef for your Sunday roast, learning about why our meat really is the way forward.
