Alternative Comedy Night

Join us as we welcome Dave Watt and his alter ego Captain Breadbeard for our latest stand-up comedy night on Saturday 22nd June at Macknade.

Featuring five of the UK's favourite alternative comedians, you'll enjoy a whole host of different comedic styles, alongside the very best food & drink.

Tickets are £15 and include a drink on arrival. Additional food & drink can be ordered from our bar & kitchen throughout the evening.
Doors open at 6.30pm for food, with the first act on at 7.30pm.

This month's line up features: 


Amelia Hamilton


Runner Up: Komedia New Comedy Award 2024, Finalist: Musical Comedy Awards 2023. Amelia presents a unique fusion of rap and stand-up. A talented comic delivering “a proper gag in every line” (Chortle, 2024) watch Amelia navigate life, love and adulthood in the high-energy and observational style that is already earning her plaudits.


Sang Don Park 

UK Musical Comedy Awards 2024 Finalist. Sang is a South Korean comedian, who has performed in various cities around the world, including London. Though he is a high-energy comedian, he also makes an effort to thoroughly heed his audience as well to carry out the best and the most original performance for the crowd. His comedy styles include observational, cultural, some improvisational riffs, and as well as some music.


Danny Scott


Bath New Act of the Year Finalist 2024. Max Turner Semi Finalist 2023. A high energy, off the wall observational comedian. Kent born and bred and operating on around 87% caffeine. Have been described as a “Great persona, with a wonderful sense of mischief” - Rob Hitchmough. And “Very Funny” - James Acaster. TV Warm up for Live at the Queer Comedy Club Season 1 & 2.


William Stone



BBC New Comedy Award final, the Leicester Square New Act of the Year Competition final and the 2Northdown New Act of the year final 2020. William has appeared live on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio 4, written and starred in a sketch for BBC 3 Quickies and written additional material for Mock The Week and The News Quiz.
