Marketing Manager

As we look to the future, and a growing number of sites and platforms, we are looking for an experienced full-time Marketing Manager to create & deliver outstanding marketing campaigns that support our brand mission, as well as generating footfall to our physical sites and driving sales for e-commerce. 

The ideal candidate will currently hold a senior role in marketing or branding, with a broad remit across digital & offline marketing. From digital & social to ‘boots on the ground’ customer engagement, you will have a multi-channel approach and know which channels to turn on to deliver results.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. To take a leading role in developing in our annual marketing plan
  2. To manage & execute local marketing campaigns for each of our sites
  3. To manage & execute all digital campaigns to drive sales & conversions on our website
  4. To manage Macknade’s social media strategy, working together with site GMs to ensure excellent customer experience & complaint resolution
  5. To oversee all email marketing campaigns - growing our database, executing all campaigns & measuring their success
  6. To produce compelling content for various platforms & touchpoints that adheres to our brand tone of voice
  7. To act as guardian for the brand, taking the lead in promoting Macknade’s core pillars of Quality & Community
  8. To support in the development & delivery of our events, both on and off site
  9. To be responsible for writing press releases and managing our external press office
  10. To manage other external agencies and third-party partners, as required
  11. To analyse the performance of all marketing activity, reporting on its success to inform future campaigns

You will be a versatile marketeer with well-rounded experience across a range of different channels and you aren’t afraid to get stuck in. An authentic passion for our mission and the desire to drive it into more spaces is a must!

Skills, experience & qualifications:

  1. Experience in e-commerce websites and content management systems
  2. Experience across online advertising platforms including Adwords, Google Shopping and Paid Social
  3. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  4. Good knowledge of SEO and the ability to create keyword led content that engages audiences at every level
  5. Experience in creating a social media strategy and managing multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & LinkedIn
  6. Experience in Google Analytics
  7. Experience working with email marketing platforms and CRMs
  8. Strong copywriting skills to ensure all campaigns are executed with care, consistency & are in line with the Macknade TOV
  9. Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally with a qualification in a marketing discipline
  10. Evidence of continued education and training
  11. An outstanding communicator, both written & verbal
  12. A highly organised  multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  13. Strong attention to detail
  14. Knowledge & passion for the premium food & drink market 

Hours of work will vary with the job depending on where the emphasis of the role is on each day. Holiday is pro rata with a full-time rate of 28 days.
