No visit to Macknade is complete without paying a visit to our deli counter. The staff are full of character, and are incredibly knowledgeable about all the charcuterie and cheeses we stock.
Our delicatessen counter is an impressive sight, housing amongst the largest range of cheese and charcuterie available anywhere in the UK. We source these from an extensive variety of suppliers, and in many cases, direct from the producers themselves.
The delicatessen also houses all manner of olives and antipasti, pies, Scotch eggs and quiches – perfect for food on the go or a treat for supper.
With over 200 cheeses on offer, there is one to suit every taste. Our range includes award-winning local cheeses, classic British farmhouse cheeses, and well-known and unusual varieties from Europe and afar. We also provide the highest quality charcuterie, which like our cheeses, we cut and prepare to order.
Our keen and knowledgeable team actively encourage the tasting and discovery of new products. You are hard-pressed to pass the deli without picking up a cheese or meat sample – both of which change daily.
The delicatessen’s cheese and charcuterie can also be tried by treating yourself to a platter from our café, washed down with some regional apple juice or, better still, matched with a local wine or beer!
