Beef Butchery Masterclass

Join our experienced butchers for a Beef Butchery Masterclass on Thursday November 14th, who will be demonstrating a wide range of cuts and giving you the opportunity to get hands on with a forequarter of our pasture-fed beef!
Our pasture-fed beef is sourced only from PFLA (Pasture Fed Livestock Association) certified farms in the South East, meaning that the animals have been fed a 100% natural diet of grasses, wildflowers & herbs through their entire lives. Great for flavour & for the environment too!
On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a beer from our on-site brewers, Boutilliers, before settling in for the masterclass. For those of you who like to get stuck in, there will be plenty of opportunities to get some hands-on experience under the watchful eyes of our talented butchers… or you can stand back and simply take it all in!
Our butchers will be talking about the numerous benefits of PFLA meat and giving you plenty of advice on how to cook the different cuts for optimum flavour & tenderness.
The demonstration will be followed by a sit-down meal in our butchery, where you can taste our pasture-fed beef in two different recipes. Simon, our Head Butcher, is an ex Michelin Chef and his dishes are to die for, so come hungry!
We’ll be pairing the food with a glass or two of red wine and plenty of good conversation, as our butchers will join you for supper to answer any questions you might have and to talk more about our ethos in the butchery.
You will also go home with a pack of ingredients to recreate your favourite of the two recipes in the comfort of your own home.

The event starts at 6.30pm and is priced at £95pp, including VAT, or £90pp for Macknade Cardholders. To take advantage of this special price, simply enter your Macknade card number when prompted (on the reverse of your card, underneath the barcode).
