Dairy Free Chocolate Pot

This recipe uses avocado as a base and dairy free chocolate... You can also add chilli, pistachio or sea salt to mix it up!

  • 2 large, ripe avocadoes
  • 200g dairy free chocolate (we used moo free milk chocolate!)
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 250ml coconut cream
  • Maple syrup or agave (optional)
  • Toppings of your choice


  1. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water and then set aside to cool. Do not let the water touch the bowl.
  2. Halve and scoop out your avocadoes and put them into a food processor.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients and pulse until smooth (make sure the ingredients are well combined!).
  4. Pour in the cooled chocolate and pulse until creamy and smooth. Taste and check it is sweet enough for your liking. Add a little maple syrup or agave if it isn't.
  5. Divide into six or eight bowls (depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have!) and pop in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of topping... Raspberries, bananas, nuts, chia seeds - whatever you fancy!
