An independent B&B on the coast in Seasalter… and a great base for exploring the gems of East Kent!
Driftwood Beach House is a boutique bed and breakfast in Seasalter… a short drive from us here in Faversham and home to one of our favourite local restaurants, The Sportsman.
A great alternative to a hotel, Driftwood Beach House offers peace and luxury in a picturesque setting, making it a wonderful place to stay when visiting Faversham, Whitstable, Kent… or Macknade in particular!
Owned and operated by outgoing couple Jez and Michelle Hills, Driftwood Beach House is a product of their appreciation for travel, and passion for hospitality.
Each room offers its own story, whether it’s the vibrant Moroccan room, the Hot Tub Heaven room, or the light and airy Chess Room, with its own giant chess set sitting out on the terrace.
The B&B boasts amazing views of the bay, across Seasalter Marshes and the surrounding countryside. Each room has private access (and its own outdoor space!) and best of all, Jez and Michelle have plenty of top tips for you to make the most of the local area.
And when it comes to food, they don’t disappoint… All guests enjoy a continental or cooked breakfast focussed on local produce… so expect to see several Macknade ingredients on the breakfast table!
