Introducing our Wagyu/Sussex cross from Trenchmore Farm…

Our butchery has something extra special to share with you this week courtesy of Trenchmore Farm in Sussex!
We’ve recently taken delivery of a rump & loin of Sussex/Wagyu beef – the lovechild of a native British cattle breed and Japan’s most famous cow.
The result is a double muscle animal, with a high fat content, which runs through the meat, rather than covering it. The beef is full of flavour and really does melt in the mouth.
Sustainable farming is high on the agenda for Trenchmore. The cattle are grass fed for most of their lives and are finished on grain & apple pomace, which are both by products from the same farm… making it a truly virtuous cycle!
Only in limited supply, cuts available are sirloin, rump & fillet. Get it before it’s gone!
