We are currently recruiting for a full-time butcher, of which you will find the job description below. We also welcome speculative CVs and are particularly interested in hearing from hard-working, charismatic individuals who love food and are keen to develop their careers further.
Please download and complete the following application form and forward it to us together with your CV and an accompanying letter stating why you would like to work for Macknade and what additional experience or qualities you will bring to the team. If applicable, please ensure that you state the job you are applying for.
You will then be contacted if you have been successful in securing an interview. We regret that we are generally only able to respond to applicants that have sent the above paperwork to us.
Applications should be sent to General Manager, Finn Dunlop, at email@example.com.
If we feel you match the criteria for the role you are applying for, you will either receive an email or phone call to invite you in for an interview in-store.
We aim to get back to all applicants to confirm whether they have been successful with their application in reaching the next stage of the recruitment process. This can take between one and two weeks from receipt of your application. At some times of the year we experience a higher volume of applications and it may take longer. We also stress the importance of submitting an accompanying letter in support of your CV/application form. Without this we may not contact you.
We are open seven days a week throughout the year, only closing for four days over the Christmas period, as well as New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday. Weekends are our busiest time and staff on the shopfloor should be prepared to work either Saturday or Sunday each week.
